Wilson & Girgenti, P.A. was founded in 2005 in Tampa, Florida by Todd Wilson, PE, and Joe Girgenti, PE, and has since expanded to serve multiple markets nationwide. In 2020, WG expanded its services to include structural and fire protection engineering, complementing its established MEP offerings to provide a complete design solution: structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection. In 2022, WG Build, LLC, the firm’s construction division, was established to provide subcontractor services.

JOSEPH GIRGENTI, PE
CEO
Joseph Girgenti is the CEO of Wilson & Girgenti and WG Build. He and Todd Wilson founded Wilson & Girgenti in 2005. In 2022, Girgenti and Brock Shrader founded WG Build to add construction subcontractor work to WG’s scope of services. Joe graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering and specializes in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing engineering. He holds both a Professional Engineering license and a Certified Electrical Contractor license. Joe is a Tampa native and is a Jesuit High School and University of South Florida Alumni.
BROCK SHRADER, PE
President
Brock Shrader is the company’s longest-standing employee and President of Wilson & Girgenti. Shrader specializes in both mechanical and electrical engineering, as well as project management services. His services include the design, management, control and construction/renovation of new and existing buildings and infrastructure support systems. He graduated from The Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
JOSE DOMINGUEZ, PE
Orlando Principal
Jose Dominguez leads the electrical team in Orlando with vast experience in the electrical design and generation of commercial building prints. He specializes in office space renovations, as-built designs, and helps facilitate field coordination with mechanical and plumbing design teams. He graduated from the Florida Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering. He is also a member of the Society of the Hispanic Professional Engineers.
BEN TONEY
Fire Protection Principal
Ben Toney has over 25 years of experience in the commercial engineering and construction fields and leads Fire Protection for both Wilson & Girgenti, P.A. and WG Build, LLC. He provided fire protection design services for commercial buildings at his own firm for 14 years before merging with Wilson & Girgenti. Ben is a graduate of Georgia Southern University, where he earned a degree in industrial engineering.
NICK HADDAD, PE
Market Director – Structural
Nick Haddad oversees the structural engineering division in Orlando. He has 16 years of experience in engineering. Nick is PE licensed in various states including FL, GA, SC, TX, LA, and TN. His services include commercial, multifamily, mixed-use, retail, hospitality, adaptive reuse, aviation, and tenant improvement. He has touched a number of high-profile projects including Harry Potter Land Los Angeles, Starbucks, and the Orlando International Airport. Nick graduated from Georgia Tech with both a bachelors and masters degree in civil engineering, with a focus on structural engineering.

Matthew Bendetowies leads the team in South Florida. Matthew’s experiences ranges in all industries, with a primary focus in office renovation and restaurant development. He studied at the University of Florida and earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.

Nashville Market Director
Ben Laviolette is the Associate Market Director of WG Nashville. He has 15 years of experience within mechanical and plumbing engineering design. He is experienced with high-rise and low-rise multifamily projects and has extensive knowledge in manufactured system accessories, like buffer tanks, dirt separators, and more. Ben graduates from Purdue University with a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering Technology.
KAT HOWELL
Austin Market Director
Kat Howell has over 30-years experience in the construction industry, including 7 years with Wilson & Girgenti. In her role, she brings experience from not only the electrical design field but also from the electrical distribution, electrical construction and estimating fields. Kat holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design with a concentration in Lighting Design from the University of Texas at Austin. She began her career in the lighting industry and quickly transitioned into electrical design. Over the years, she has contributed to a wide variety of projects—from large-scale residential and private conference rooms to historic restorations, commercial developments, industrial and heavy industrial sites, airports, military bases, and more.

New York Market Director
Manny leads the New York office, with a specialization in mechanical design-engineering. He graduated from Binghamton University with a Bachelors of Science degree in mechanical engineering.
DANNY PERDOMO
Director of Electrical Construction
As the Construction Manager of WG Build, Danny Perdomo oversees all service divisions. He has 45 years of experience in the electrical trade and construction industry. He has experience in residential, industrial, and commercial projects, some of which include the Raymond James stadium, the Ice Palace, and the Macdill Airforce Base. Danny also has OSHA training, CPR certification, and inspection-related certifications.
RIGO RONQUILLO
Director of HVAC Construction
Rigo Ronquillo leads the Mechanical division of WG Build as a certified HVAC contractor. He has over 7 years of HVAC contract experience and over 4 years of mechanical and plumbing engineering training through Wilson & Girgenti. Rigo holds several additional certifications, including his EPA card (universal refrigeration certification), mini split course, and a Heat Pump, Air Conditioning, and Commercial certification. His experience includes factories, restaurants, fertilization plants, and tenant improvement jobs.
VICTOR RINCON
Director of Plumbing Construction
Victor Rincon leads the WG Build plumbing division as a certified plumbing contractor. He has over 11 years of experience in plumbing contract work as well as additional experience in plumbing engineering design through Wilson & Girgenti. His experience includes numerous custom projects including high-end residential, multifamily/high-rise, industrial, commercial, health care and sports arenas. As a master plumber, he is able to keep up with changing technology and maneuver between building types.
