ZooTampa at Lowry Park continues to create a one-of-a-kind immersive experience for guests, always finding new ways to elevate and enhance every visit. WG is proud to have provided MEP and Fire Alarm design for both the Reptile and Amphibian Discovery (RAD) Center and the Straz Family Manatee Rescue.

Each project called for thoughtful engineering solutions—from space tempering, humidity control, and specialized lighting within the RAD exhibits to support animal habitats, to infrastructure design supporting the manatee facilities. For the Straz Family Manatee Rescue, WG’s scope included designing the piping systems connecting the water conditioning plant to the manatee pools. This work was delivered as part of the broader project team under Perry-Becker Design, the prime consultant and a leading architectural and thematic design firm.
